Consulting Services
Consulting is our key offering to the Aerospace and Defense Sector in our current phase in the company lifecycle. We offer a different approach to accomplishing Research and Development projects in Aerospace and Defense: taking a modular approach to building the system/family of systems that the customer needs.

Cyber-Physical Systems
Cyber-Physical Systems
A key element to the future of Land and Aerospace Systems is the development of Cyber-Physical Systems. These systems bridge the gap between the digital and physical domains by enabling systems that were previously predominantly mechanical to provide data and control capabilities. The combination of sensors and actuators provide opportunities for systems to become “smart” through data acquisition, predictive analytics, and advanced software control.

All Aerospace and Defense systems require sustainment activities to perform the operation, maintenance, and modification life cycle elements. Performance of work on contracts designed to sustain systems are sometimes referred to as “service contracts.” Service contracts are commonly focused on keeping things running in a production environment, not necessarily focused on developing revolutionary systems and technologies.
Many organizations prioritize the attainment of service contracts as a revenue business case. As with much of the business model of JTE Systems, we look at them differently.
Stability
Providing stability and mechanisms of growth for a workforce are a vital element of a successful engineering enterprise. Good engineers, technicians, and support personnel require a regular income. Our intent is to provide that stability to our employees by using a blended model of service contract work with additional opportunities to conduct Research and Development projects in advanced technological domains.
Professional Growth
Stability in service contract work provides an opportunity for our employees to grow within their profession by seeking education and professional development opportunities-along with performing research activities to develop new technological and scientific capabilities.
Customer Value
The customer in both the service and research industries are able to capitalize on our Research-Service Feedback Loop because our service work allows us to retain highly skilled personnel while our research work ensures that emerging science and advanced technologies inform their service contract performance. We do not provide personnel to fill seats. Instead, our hybrid Research-Service Feedback business model leads us to provide revolutionary capabilities and constantly evolving personnel to exceed the needs and expectations of the customer’s enterprise.
Software Factory
Our near-term growth plan includes the establishment of a Software Factory that provides Software as a Service offerings to Consumers and Industry. Our focus is on developing software to support our Digital Twin initiatives that are currently under development for Ground and Aerospace Vehicles and business Enterprises. We are also currently developing Apps for Consumers and Maintenance Organizations.
Digital Twin
Open-Source Digital Twins are the best route to developing customer-oriented systems that will provide value without requiring users to acquire licenses and expertise in various vendor-locked systems and architectures.
Aerospace Containerization
The future of Aerospace and other vehicle system software control is through containerized software that can be developed in a digital environment, validated in a combined digital and Hardware-in-the-Loop hybridization system, and then deployed to the operational environment which can be anywhere from the ground, to air, or in orbit or beyond.
These containerized systems will be developed and employed through the use of Operational Digital Twins that will be active both on the vehicle and in the support infrastructure.
Consumer App Development
Our modular approach to software development provides opportunities for reuse of microservices that can be directly applied to the daily needs of consumers. Our apps will provide organizational capabilities for families and individuals to ensure that their time is spent enjoying life while managing life’s complexities through skillfully developed automation.
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Management
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, from the local automotive shop, to small businesses performing aerospace MRO will be provided with cost-effective options for managing their businesses and MRO activities in a scalable architecture that provides pricing models that minimize the financial impact to the business while drastically improving the throughput of their operation by leveraging data, predictive analytics, and other tools typically only available to major carriers and maintenance organizations.
Publications
Conducting research and communicating ideas are key to advancing our technological capabilities – positively affecting lives and achieving goals previously unattainable. We work hard to not only master the art of the possible, but to also identify opportunities to integrate new technologies, progress toward advanced cyber-physical systems in aerospace/defense/consumer markets, and realize systems through a lean prime approach that puts the product at the center of the project-not the enterprise building it. Below are publications for research we are accomplishing at JTE Systems. Manuscript copies and amplifying information will be available when possible.
